Community rules

Last updated 1 November 2026

Each café on Libut Café has a freedom wall, where people who are at the café can leave a note. These rules are for wall notes, comments, photos and profile names. They’re part of the Terms of Use.

The rules

  1. Be kind. Write the way you’d talk to the person at the next table.
  2. No hate. Nothing that attacks people for their religion, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexuality, disability or age.
  3. No harassment. No bullying, threats, insults aimed at someone, or piling on.
  4. No spam. No ads, links, promo codes, selling, or the same note over and over.
  5. No personal information about others. No names of other people, phone numbers, addresses, social handles or photos of other people without their permission. Keep your own details out too.
  6. No sexual content. No nudity, sexual comments or sexual images.
  7. Keep it about the café. The coffee, the food, the space, the view, the vibe.

Photos should show the café, the food and drinks, or the view, not other people.

What happens

  • Every note is checked automatically before it goes up. Some wait for a person to look at them.
  • Report a note or comment that breaks these rules (tap ··· on it). We review reports, usually within 24 hours. A note reported by several people is hidden until we’ve checked it.
  • Block someone and you stop seeing their notes and comments on every wall.
  • We remove notes that break the rules, and we can ban people who keep breaking them.
